A Grok Bot Self-Portrait

I built a Grok bot called Maker for physical projects. I now use it for 3D design and printing, CNC work, and whatever else is happening in the shop that I can automate.

Last night I gave Maker a picture of Grok Bot and asked for a version I could print on my Bambu X1C. The only requirement was that the eyes had to turn. Point them down for the usual face. Turn one sideways for a wink. Turn both flat and it goes to sleep.

Maker came back with a 60 mm sphere, two curved eyes, and three Bambu project files: the whole thing, the body by itself, and a plate with both eyes. It also opened the combined file in Bambu Studio and printed it for me.

I could have modeled this in Fusion 360 or another tool. It just a ball with two holes in it. But I didn’t open Fusion, and a little while later there was a physical Grok Bot on the printer.

Then I asked Maker to put it on MakerWorld.
